Good Morning All! Hope that you had a great weekend!

I am all set and ready to go here with healthy choices today here is what I have planned

B: 1/2 c Hi-Lo Maple Pecan Cereal (12 grams of protein!) with 1/2 cup soy milk and 1 banana
S: fage yogurt with s/f black cherry preserves
L: salad with meat and cheese (I'll pick this up - forgot to get lettuce)
S: pudding with protein powder
D: center cut pork chop and broccoli
S: protein shake or pudding with protein powder

as far as my fluids I am starting with 20oz decaf coffee with skim milk and splenda, lots of water and maybe an international coffee's swiss mocha if I need a pick me up this afternoon

Oh and I also have a container of trail mix (pecans, almonds, peanuts, dried cranberries and raisins) for when the salty crunchy deamons come a calling!

I should have weighed in this morning but I forgot - saturday morning though I was 193. My goal is 170,  I would love to be down those last 23 pounds in the next few months.

Make it a great day all!

oh this sucks. hehe...lemme start over....

Okay it's Monday! Here I go.

I just logged into my caloriecounter.com account. Holy crap. The last time I logged in was 12/13/08. I have still lost 7 pounds since then so I didn't get upset with myself and really fell behind in logging my food and stuff.

So far I have had:

fage
blueberries
a special k waffle
2 vats of coffee w/half n half n splenda

I have no idea about the rest of today...but I'm putting up a plan as I type right now.

L: lean cuisine cheese ravioli
a bag of spinach

D: fage w/sugar free syrup and wheat germ

snacks: 8 oz skim milk
s/f pops

I'm here!  Went shopping yesterday and bought lean meats, cheeses, high fiber cereals, fresh fruits and veg, whole grain breads, SF puddings, etc.

Right now, I am drinking a protein shake, 20 gms, and I have chicken defrosting for dinner.

I don't do the daily menu up ahead of time, other than knowing my first protein of the day and my dinner.  This is what's worked for me during my weight loss.

Oh, and I bought a bottle at Walmart that holds exactly 8 glasses of liquid.  Last night, I filled it with water and SF lemonade powder.

Checked the scale this morning.

It's a go!

I'm with ya!  I don't plan my meals.. never have been able to.  However, I am making sure to get my protein in, very few carbs, water or Propel, and I am joining Curves today as I get NO exercise sitting home with my Granddaughter all day!  I'll go while she and her Grandpa are napping!  (He works nights)

I'm determined.. and scared that I am putting some weight back on..  no matter how much, it's too much!!

I really like reading everyones daily menu - they give me good ideas especially when I need an idea of something different to eat.

My plan for today
     Coffee
     B-Protein Bar
     S-cheese stick
     L-leftover pot roast
     S-yogurt
     D-chichen breast with spinach
     S-almonds

I weighed in this morning at 170.  My goal is 150 and I am heading to the YMCA after work today!
Hope everyone has a good "Back to Basics" day.

alright - so far so good today! I am right on track! I do admit that I have been digging into the fruit and nuts pretty heavily - I have probably had about 1/2 cup, but it is better then crackers or pretzels right?! I am having a particularly stressful day and am identifying that that is when I want to eat - when i am stressed. Now I just have to deal with the stress WITHOUT food!
