OT Snow?

OK...so I didn't know about the snow.

When I left work it was just barely flurrying and I thought to myself - wow - this is kind of pretty.  By the time I got home, there was a dusting on the grass and on the shoulder of the roads, but nothing on the roads themselves or even the sidewalks for that matter.  It was definately coming down a tiny bit harder than it was in Allentown.

According to the news Easton area is supposed to get 1-3 inches.

Not to bad, and enough to make the yards look pretty I guess.  I will be setting my alarm a little bit earlier just in case.

It is also supposed to warm up and then go down into the 20s tonight - so I'm sure whatever is on the road will turn to ice.

That being said - please take extra time and extra precautions if you will be going out tonight.  There's to many good people on this board for anything bad to happen to any of us!!

Pam I didn't know about the snow either! I was on my way to work and had a philly station on but they were just calling for flurries / rain. Yuck 1-3 isn't so bad though I suppose- just enough to make driving slow... Be careful going to work tonight! All the loonies will be out - I hope that too many of them don't end up in your ER!

I will be headed home around 4 to make a fancy surf and turf dinner for me and hubby, then I will indulge in a glass of wine and watch some TV, maybe a movie if there is anything good on.

*hugs* HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Liz

huh?

I may have to be driving tonight to pick up the girls, and I know my son will be driving---either here or to Jersey----tonight WITH my parents car (but that's another thread).

Thanks for the heads up---I will have to check the forecast. Right now looking outside it is dry and sunny!

I live in Bethlehem and it has been snowing lightly on and off all day.  it is sticking a little bit to the cars and grass, but nothing major.  It is not on the sidewalks or streets.  It is actually kind of relaxing to look out the window and see it coming down.  It is really cold outside, though, so I don't know what that is going to mean for later.

Just be careful out there tonight wherever you have to go.

Pam, hopefully you won't get too much business tonight.  What hospital do you work at?
