Pam-
You handled it perfectly.  Either way I am sure you were a beautiful bride no matter how fluffy!

This journey is so surprising in so many ways and each day brings new wows to experience and handle.

The first job I had after I'd lost more than 100# I realized that these people didn't know me "when", and it's really strange--the conversations were NEVER about diets!

Enjoy it!

Sounds like you handled it perfectly, especially since you don't tell a lot of people, and that's a personal choice for all of us. It is funny, tho, that they thought you would show them pix of your husband with another woman, and think it was his first wife!!

Your response makes complete sense Pam and I think you handled it quite well.  It's so funny how we forget for that brief moment or two (...or three or four...) and then realize exactly what you titled your post ("oh that's right...they don't know!)  I'm so glad you are enjoying just "being" -- you definitely deserve that!
