I AM STARTING TO CHANGE MY MIND

Doubts and fear are normal.  Everyone has posted some wonderful stuff so I won't repeat any of it.  I will say that the question of "why can't I just do this on my own if i'm saying i will do it after surgery" plagued me HARD during the 10 day liquid diet.  For me (everyone is different) I just couldn't.  I don't know why and I didn't know for sure until now.  The surgery was what I needed.  All of the items you both bring up are valid.  But so is what made you look into the surgery - wanting to be healthy.  Keep posting, this is the best board and everyone is here to help and support but ultimately it's your life.  And your decision.

Everyone has already offered you great advice and I just wanted to offer my support and let you know that fear and doubts are normal.  Ultimately, nobody can (or should) make this decision except for you.  I still plan to visit you at Barix on Friday afternoon and please let me know if you'd like to speak at all today.
