Anyone Having surgery at Barix on 12/04/08
I'm glad you get to meet "our" Lisa - you will soon find how wonderful a person she is. So glad you'll be able to get a visitor, too!!
I had surgery at Barix on 10/30/07 and the place was awesome. I'm a nurse and as my husband tells me - a horrible person to go into hospitals because I find soooo much wrong with everything. I couldn't complain about just about anything at Barix. The staff is wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and just outstanding!!
You will be told to get out of bed very soon after surgery (if you are being done laproscopically) and walk walk walk breathe breathe breathe and of course sip your fluids. Make sure you walk and do your breathing exercises - it can be uncomfortable - but I swear made all the difference in the world in my recovery time.
