Pre-Op Liquid Diet
Absolutely every doctor is different.
My doctor only required one day of clear liquids prior to surgery and then nothing by mouth after midnight.
That being said...I had gained weight from consult to my pre op testing...and I needed to drop it or they would cancel my surgery...so I went on a two week "just about full liquid diet" Meaning everything I had was sf/ff full liquids with the exception of nf ricotta cheese and one "meal" consisting of only protein and veggies (no refined carbs) It was torturous (sp?) but I got the weight off plus some!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
