Support Group / Cooking Class - THIS SATURDAY - list included!
Well by popular demand we will be having the support group / cooking class at my house Saturday November 8th - noon until ????
This month we will be focusing on making healthier versions of Thanksgiving favorites! If you have a Thanksgiving favorite you would like re-worked let me know and we'll come up with something (even if you can't attend I'll post the recipe).
To help offset the costs a bit we are asking for a small donation of either an ingredient, beverage etc.

OK - So here is the list if you would like to bring an ingredient - please post which item you are bringing so we don't overlap - anything left friday afternoon I will pick up.
1 loaf whole grain bread (sliced or not, doesn't matter)
1 small bag walnuts (about 1 cup)
1 small bag craisins or other dried cranberries (about 1 cup)
1 paper box vegetable stock (I think that they are about 4 cups)
The menu includes: (To get you drooling! lol)
sugar free pumpkin pie
eggplant based stuffing
"tradional" but WLS friendly stuffing
a potato dish
chicken meatballs
crab stuffed mushrooms
AND what has gotten the most postive responses!
jellied cranberry sauce!
Look forward to seeing whoever can make it there! Let me know if you need directions - oh and feel free to park on the grass, facing the garage (perpendicular to the road so we can fit in more cars!) or in the driveway, it'll be empty - I'll put my car in the garage.

I am going food shopping Friday evening after work. Let me know what, if anything, isn't being brought and I will pick it up. You can call me and leave a message on my cell phone - I think I should be home about 4ish that day and shopping somewhere around 5....
