My bf is coming from Florida for turkey time! This month is 5 years of being together. only about 7 months of those living in the same place!! ie, the navy and school keeping us apart  :( We are taking a day to ourselves and I wanted to plan something really nice to do. I am willing to travel alittle bit. Can anyone give me any suggestions for some great romantic places to go!!! OR any ideas at all. Thanks in advance.

Go to Bear Creek... it is where Jeremy snowboards at... but they have a great hotel, spa deals, and great food...

How about a Bed and Breakfast in Lambertville or New Hope, maybe even a shore one if you can find one that is open all year round, usually you can get great deals this time of year.  I stayed in the Martin Coryelle (sp?) House in Lambertville a while back, it was very nice and not too bad, I think it was $142 for the night, had a nice fireplace, jacuzzi tub and the breakfast was nice.

Take care, Laureen

PS  There is a discount Bed & Breakfast site online. . .

Hubby and I took a trip to Baltimore's Inner Harbor a few months back - and it was absolutely gorgeous.  We stayed within walking distance of the harbor - at a Hampton Inn which was very nice.

There are TONS of packages for the local hotels that have romantic flairs to them....and other packages with tours and what not.

It might be a *****illy down by the water but it was still beautiful and LOTS of stuff to do.

As far as things in the actual area - I'm still figuring all that out myself!
