***Election Day Roll Call***

Good morning everybody - we couldn't go vote early because some dumb-dumb at my husband's work scheduled a class for today that started at 8:00, so we would have been late had we stuck around home to vote, so I'm hoping its not too bad after work when we go - but even if it is we will wait and vote.

Its quiet here at work right now - just me and one other person - everyone else went out to vote this morning. My boss sent me a text earlier and said she was in a loooooong line at 6:35 waiting for the polls to open. Its going to be a busy day - I sure hope these polling places were ready for the crowds.

Other than that not much new in my life...just a quiet day on the job.

Good morning all.

Busy day for everyone I see!   I get off work at 3;30 so I will head to the polls then.  Hopefully, I will be lucky since it is before the typical 9-5 crowd and there won';t be too much of a wait.  Last time, the line was long, but it moved quickly.  After that, I have my karate class, then off to the gym.

I have off tomorrow for my birthday....I am not a big birthday celebrator, but for the first time, I decided to take the day off.  I am planning on getting my hair done, as well as a manacure and pedicure.  Then, I will ruin  my manicure at pottery class!  I guess I better find some latex gloves before then.

Have a good one and get out to vote!

Good Tuesday everyone!!

Today has me transcribing, transcribing and more transcribing.  As always, I wait until the last minute to get everything done.  But tomorrow is turn-in and I have to, have to get my stuff done.  So if I have to stay up to midnight to finish, I will.

Connor has off, of course.  And so does Garry.  Do you believe it's the only paid day off he gets??  Not even for Thanksgiving or Christmas.  Sometimes I'm not so sure unions are the best thing, but he has excellent health insurance, so I can't knock that.  Anyway, Connor has a science project due, so I'm having Garry take him to the local parks to look for the stuff he needs.

Other than that, not much going on.  I'm sorry to say that since I've moved here two years ago I never changed my address.  I've been meaning to do it, especially lately because of the election.  And I kept putting it off and now I won't be allowed to vote.  Sorry excuse, but crap happens.  And I feel bad because Connor is really into it and had a mock election at school.  I think Garry will be able to take him to the polls, though.  He really wants to go.

Well, have a great Election Day everyone!!!

Karen

I'm here, I'm here!  Went clothes shopping yesterday... Man, was that an AWESOME experience, teheheh ( <--- giggling).  So yea, I'm in a decent mood today.  And I WILL NOT give into the candy which is never far away taunting me!  ;o)  Have a good day all.

Good Morning!

I voted around 8 am after waiting a half an hour in line. Not bad.

I'm happy that the scale is movin' again without me having to go crazy trying to get it to.

I'm off wor****il Friday, thank God. I need time to do everything else. My boss asked me last night if I can come in at 3:30 AM on Black Friday. I looked at her and asked for 13 dollars an hour. Didn't get it but it was worth a try....lol.

Happy election day!

Good Afternoon Trish & Everyone,
Got up early, got to the polls at 6:30 for a 7AM opening. There were 30 folks in front of me. By the time I left at 7:30 there were 50 folks behind me and I barely made my 8AM bus to NYC. When I got to the bus terminal I needed to buy a ticket using a credit card AND the machine was down. GREAT, as if I don't I didn't have enough obstacles this morning. However, the wonderful ladies behind the counter, (they always look out for me), they had a one day ticket they gave me left over from somewhere and I made the bus. They're gettin' flowers tomorrow.

Have a great day Everyone and remember to do the best you can today and always,

Dennis
