Proud of myself

OK so last night was trick-or-treat in my neighborhood - strange I know but I guess there is some community event tonight at the local HS. So I bought all of my candy - BIG basket full of all of my favorites, snickers, reeces, kit-kat and pretzels. 6pm rolls around and the kids start coming, well I handed out all of my candy and wasn't even tempted to try 1 piece! I can't believe it - in years past it would have been 1 for the kids, 1 for me, another for me, 1 for a kid...

I was also very suprised how excited the kids got over pretzels! They were the biggest hit of the night!

I did it!

I am "bigger" then the candy now that I am 135 pounds lighter!

Hi Liz

You mean it's possible to survive Halloween without candy??  I used to keep it in my car thinking I wouldn't eat it and then run back and forth to car to get it.  Here's to many more candyless Haloweens.
