Well it's finally here, I am going in for my DS today in about an hour and wanted to check in here and take in all your well wishes with me.  Weird thing though...I just got on my mom's scale and it shows I gained weight, how can that possibly be after 5 days of not eating?  I mean I cheated a little, but when I say a little I mean really little.  I don't know, I guess it's wrong, but my mom says it's right !! I give up, but after today it will matter now more as I will be on the Dard side and the losers bench with you !!

Scooch over every one and make room!! Here I Come!!

Best of luck today! Forget what the scale said - and EXPECT it to be a bit higher (as much as 10-15 pounds) when you get home with all the fluids they pump into you during surgery!

You will be a looser soon enough - can't wait to hear from you on the other side!

Sit back, hold on it's a wild ride but worth every second of it!

Hey Kat,

I'm making room as you are in transistion to join us here on the Loser's Bench.  May it be a smooth transistion for you and look forward to hearing all about your journey as it unfolds!  When you get out of there, follow your surgeons orders to the letter.

Hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Kat,

Every scale is different so don't worry so much about it.  You will be fine!

Welcome to the bench - please be sure to update us when you can!
