I know where you are coming from on the job change, saying good-bye, doing what is best for you and your family. I had to do that at times, and it was so hard.
Not sure what to tell you about helping your hubby, except to say that you need to pray for him, and not let yourself get sucked in by his emotional state. Easier said than done in a marriage.
Hang in there. Food is not the answer.
