I was told last week by the NUT......1000 to 12000 calories a day.  keep up with your prescribed protein (I am 76grams), carbs can go as high at 130ish....100g is good which is where I often end up.  "Normal" people are getting in around 300 per day.  Naturally we are going to be lower, however, we do not want to be too low because our BRAINS need carbs to function.  I need all the brain power I can get LOL  And, that being said, they should be mostly veggies, fruit, whole grains....not the white crap.

I was convinced I was way over board on my carbs, but I wasn't so I was very happy with that.

Thanks Heather - and seeing as we are both Brader Babies - and our protein goals are the same I Guess that is where I should be - now I realize that I have to eat MORE! LOL Maybe I am not getting in enough food? I see that my carbs are way low - 38 for today, guess I need more fruit and veggies in there.

Thanks so much! This will get me through until I see Dr Brader in January.
