Hello, Yes, I am seeing Dr. DiMarco on Nov. 24th. I am trying to deciede on the lap aband or RNY. I already had 2 prior appts. What are you having done? If I may ask. I just stated using the boards, so I am not to good at it yet. I was wondering too, if there were others out there going to Hbg. doctors. "Lucky"

i had my surgery with Dr. DiMarco in June of this past summer. He was great. Supportive and friendly and very caring. I think he is  agreat choice. i've been very happy with everyone at the WLC. THey are always there to help, I enjoy the monthly support group meetings although I didn;t make it this week. Crazy week. Check them out if you haven;t gone alreay. I also think the follow up care has been wonderful.

Hi Krystin...I had my surgery on 12/19/07 with Dr. Currie who is one of the doctors with the Weight Loss Clinic.  I can't say enough wonderful things about this group of doctor's and their staff.  I have been attending their monthly support group meetings since June 2007, well before my surgery date.  This group of doctors are "Nationally Credited" and they attend the support group meetings (unless they are in surgery of course) and they make themselves available to us to answer our questions and help ease our concerns...The support groups are informative and you will meet a lot of wonderful people who will help you with your journey...this group is amazing...when you have your appointment, you will probably be nervous (it's natural) just be straight forward with your questions.  Dr. DiMarco is a wonderful doctor and he will take his time with you to make sure you understand everything. Good luck with your process and blessings..

I sent you a private message earlier this afternoon.  But I'll come here too and tell everyone that can read this that I could not be happier with Dr. DiMarco and his staff....THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL!!!

Off to bed with my sleepy head,

Hi!

I am a patient of Dr. Davidson's at the WLC as well.  I have been very happy with him and the staff, though their support meetings tend to lean heavily towards RNY.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I am a patient of Dr Currie at the Wt Loss Clinic.  He did my surgery back in January and it went well.  I had the lap band done and am happy with it.  I have lost 72lbs to date and its been a steady decline with no real stalls as of yet.  Dr Weiger, who you will see after your surgery on a regular basis is very helpful and informative when he talks to you.  I have had two fills so far and the last one had to be tweeked twice until we got it at the right spot.  That being said, just keep in mind, its a process that takes time, but will be worth it as time goes on.
If you have any band questions, feel free to email me or ask me here.  I usually am on here at least once a week.

Cheryl
There is not actual waiting list to see them, the insurance process is what takes all the time.
