Laura,

A)  I will have you know that my engagement/wedding rings are at the jewler as we speak.  Much to my MIL dismay - I did not have them resized as I was losing weight...cause that would have been stupid.  I think my rings were getting big on me to point where I could no longer wear them at about 4 mos out....here it is almost a year out....and I am finally comfortable enough to get them sized.  Funny - I haven't worn them in 8 mos - and yet - now that they are not physically in my house....I want them.  I must admit - it was kind of fun seeing my MIL squirm about the whole thing....she is a jewlery freak (I am not...) and couldn't go a day without wearing 10 rings and 20 bracelets....and she kept bringing up the fact that I wasn't wearing my rings.  As if the ring made the marriage....

B)  hint hint....the POINT of roller coasters is to SCARE THE CRAP outta ya and then get off going "I wanna do that AGAIN"  We have to get you on one, darling.

C)  Your trip to Va sounded great and you sounded like you had a blast.  Congrats on all the wow moments...on being able to walk all day....and then get up and walk all the next day....do all the shopping and things like that.

D)  I understand not wanting to buy clothes....I would skip a bunch of sizes for just that reason.  However....once a month or once every 6 weeks go out and buy yourself one shirt or one pair of jeans or something....it's amazing how much different you will feel and how much, even if only for an hour, a new fitted shirt or a pair of jeans that doesn't sag in the a$$, allows your brain to catch up with your body - (Like I said...if only for an hour or so....cause then you go right back into seeing your old self...or at least...I do)

Great post!

Pam-
Thank you for checking out my video blog!!

Thanks for the great advice about buying something every once in awhile!  I think tomorrow I will do just that!!!  We had so much fun in Va and I just could not get over how GREAT I felt doing all the walking and just my overall sense of well being!! It truly was a huge wow moment for me!!

As for roller coaster...maybe...maybe next time!! EEK!!! Still it was great fun fitting on the other rides with tiny seats!!

You are right too the ring does not make the marriage..don't let your MIL bother you about that...I am definitely waiting a good long time before I get these resized. I am with you on not wearing a lot of jewelery..most of the time my rings are the only piece f jewelery I wear!  So it can wait till I feel I am way closer to goal.

As always I can't thank you enough for the support!! You're the best!!
