OT: Special Olympics Dinner Bingo Fundraiser

Hello Everyone,
My family is very involved in Bucks County Special Olympics, as my nephew is an athlete, and my brother had been a coach, so this is dear to me.

Bucks County Special Olympics is holding a Dinner Bingo on Tuesday, October 21st at King's Caterers on New Falls Road in Levittown, PA. 

The cost is $30, and that gets you dinner, and a set of Bingo Cards for regular play.  The Bonus cards and the basket raffles are extra.  It is a fun night, and several of the athletes help out with the Bingo game, as well as playing. 

If anyone is interested in joining me at this, I can arrange for you to get a ticket. 

One of the reasons we support Special Olympics is that they do not receive any government funding.  They are totally donor supported.

Sounds like fun, unfortunately, I have class that night otherwise I would join you.  I was a special education teacher and volunteered with the special olympics when I was in college.  Have a great time!

Thanks Heather.  I appreciate your understanding the needs of our special kids.  I love to go to the events that my nephew attends at the colleges.  He will be competing at Villanova with soccer in November.  Those students put on a great weekend for the athletes from all across the state.

I just looked at my schedule and thought "oooh, I have off that night, maybe I can go" until I realized I have off that night because I will be in Atlantic City for a nursing conference class.  Duh!

I have done that so much Pam.  It happens when I am on information overload, as you are with packing for the move.  Thanks for being interested though.  There will be other dinner bingos in the future.
