I don't know what to say other than "what a lucky girl she is to have you as a father!"  As someone who has lost thier dad, the love and support of a father is priceless. You may not be able to help her clinically but the fact that you are by her side emotionally and for support is the best thing in the world!

Wishes, hugs and love from me!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Oh, Dennis, I am so, so sorry for what you are going through.  It saddens me inside that such a wonderful person has had to deal with such an issue.  I have tears in my eyes just thinking of the pain you're going through.  Please stay strong and know that your extended family is here for you whenever you need it.  Thank you for sharing your life with us, whether it's good or bad.  It means a lot.  I will pray that Elisa will be strong and get through this and you also.

Take good care.

Karen

You will both be in my thoughts and prayers and may you both come out of this stronger and wiser for having had the experiene. Dennis you are such an inspiration to us, your WLS family I can only imagine the support and inspiration you are to your children.

Hey Dennis,

Like you've told so many before, "Hang in there".  I know life doesn't always go as planned, but I'm sure you realize all the support you have here and we will all have you, your daughter and your family in our thoughts every day.  Like Nan said, if she's anything like you, she'll see her way through this and come out just fine.  Stay strong my friend.

"No matter how hard life may get, no matter how many curveballs you are thrown, keep in mind, if you want to succeed - QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION"!!!

Dennis,

I am so sorry to hear about all you are all going through.  As the mother of a bipolar/ADHD/oppositional defiant 18 yr old son I will keep your whole family in my thoughts and prayers as I walk the same path.  Love is flowing your way.......
