Meeting in Langhorne tonight
Hi Michele!!
I was also at the meeting last night! I didn't say much - but my husband was the one who Shauna asked to hear what he had to say about Andy and he went on about how Andy needs to challenge himself and is a competitor. My husband is not a post surgical patient - but does come to a few meetings and is very supportive of my surgery. I'm glad you found us all here on OH. Many of us post daily about a whole bunch of stuff - so jump on in!!
I'm also a Dr. Pupkova patient - and she's just wonderful!

Sooooo glad you could join us last night. As you saw we are a warm loving, giving, laughing and sometimes struggling group, but I would never want to be anywhere else than right there at Barix in Langhorne on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. The group is tremendous and it continues to grow for the better of us all. Please do join us again, we love having you.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome Dennis! This was actually my 3rd meeting I have attended. I really look forward to them! I am so glad to hear you say that there is no place that you would rather be on the 3rd Wed. of the month because I cannot imagine a better speaker or leader then you. You are so kind, fair, and friendly, and caring. You seem to have so much knowledge and you are right there to share it with every one! Thank you!!!!! I have to tell you, the first time I showed up for a meeting was a few weeks before my surgery. I was nervous going in the doors but just as I was about to walk in you were standing outside. You gave me a nice warm smile and said hello. I thought, I wonder who he is. If everyone there is as nice as he seems to be then I will be just fine. And sure enough, you are all wonderful, friendly, and oh so caring. Thank you, and I look forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome to OH and to the PA board Michele! As I'm sure you've already noticed, there are a ton of wonderful people on here and this is a terrific board. In fact, I live all the way in Boston, but I too had my surgery done at Barix Langhorne with Dr. Pupkova and so I post on the PA board instead. Unfortunately, I'm not able to make it to the meetings each month (I wish I could!), but I do make it to a few of them per year, so hopefully I will meet you one day soon!

Hi all... I am new to the message boards too. My surgery was two weeks ago with Dr. Pupkova and yesterday was my first meeting. It's great to see so many supportive folk on here.
I'm doing well and back to work. Although I am a little tired. Any suggestionions?
I'm definitely hitting my protien mark as well as water intake. I'm almost afraid because I am pacing myself, but it's not hard taking in all of this fluid.
