OT....Signature

Geesh, I am gonna whine here. LOL. Just love all the neat tickers and things people have in thier signatures. I have tried and tried. Over and over. For about 2 weeks. Now I am just going to ask.....

How the heck do you get those. I keep getting errors. I have tried every code they provide and everyone gives me an error.........

I want one! LOL.....I'm feeling a little like Veruca Salt today. Having one of those days! Ha Ha!

I may be aging myself by referring to Veruca Salt!

I got my from Myfitnesspal.com and i can update my weight whenever i want and it auto updates it in my siggy.

You create your ticker, copy the code and then paste it using the HTML #2 editor.

I give up. Tried HTML Editor #2. Still tells me errors............No fun sig for me!

Don't beat yourself up over it, Veruca!! It took me a long time to figure out the ticker and even getting my stinking avitar to work (and I still have issues when I try to change it!). I think the key is once you create it is just to copy and paste into your User Settings (but don't quote me on that!!).

 I told my BF when he called that I am feeling like "Veruca Salt" today. He asked what the heck that meant.....

I said, I want it my way. And no one elses way. I am feeling greedy and self centered today. And that's not like me at all. But today....that's just my little thing. He just laughed and said sounds like I have a fun night ahead of me.........LOL

I would like to have one as well but I have never been able to figure it out.

dont use the codes.  copy and paste the actual ticker. codes will not work here.   good luck

Do you know how long it takes all of us to this?  Don't worry!

Create your ticker.  Copy the ACTUAL ticker - not the code or anything else.  Highlight the whole thing on your final page when it is complete and right click, and "copy"

Come back to OH.  Go to user settings on the left side of the message board...go into where the signature thing is...right click in the space...and click paste.  There is a box that says "enable my signature" or something close to that phrase.  Make sure that is clicked.

Then click down on the bottom, save or whatever it says, and you should be good to go!!

It is frustrating - many of us have been there.

Oh....and with the bf....I was a little lost on your "veruca salt" comment at first - but then I figured it out.  Actually - I think the last name is what threw me off...
