OT - Does Pa have room for two more??
Cool Tracy!! I will probably end up needing all the help I can get!! The hairdresser thing sounds awesome already (as I am already in desperate need of a trim....lol) And I'll have to watch out for that mushroom farm! Thanks!

Hey Pam,
First off, congratulations on the job. I never doubted it for a second. Between your experience and your charming demeanor, how could they say no? Also Pam, I see it was at Lehigh Valley Hospital. I'm like 90% positive my daughter's mother works there. She lives in Allentown and I know she's worked there before. I'm going to check with her. You two actually have something in common. She had the old version of the lap band like 15 years ago and is in the middle of looking into a revision with RNY. I'm going to check with her and if she still works there you two could get in touch. I know she used to work the overnight shift, I'm not sure if you are going to be working that shift or not. Anyway, I just wanted to say congratulations and good luck house hunting.

Thanks Andy! Glad you didn't doubt me - cause I certainly did - sort of. It's gonna be a huge change for me...and their ER is pretty intimidating when coming from a small community hospital like mine. Funny thing is though...as I was talking about it to my co workers one of them asked "why now?" And I said "it's time" So they pressed me for more "why answers" and at first I didn't know. But then I realized that it was MY confidence level I have gotten over the past 10 mos and going through the surgery and seeing what I am really capable of. Like I said - I still doubt myself - but am much much more comfortable going out of my zone then I was, say, 105 pounds ago. I was honest with them about that - and they of course said what I expected "You can't tell me weight loss surgery made you get a new job" I told them I could tell them whatever I wanted, so long as it was the truth. And I firmly believe it IS the truth. Feel free to give your daughter's mother my email....and yes, I will be working the overnight....I think I remember you talking about her having her lap band removed? Anyway - that's enough babbling from me now. Hope all is well, and please tell Beth we said hello as well!
