WLS Cooking Class
Yep you heard it right! I have been collaborating with Shauna about this for a few weeks now. I am going to do a WLS friendly cooking class at my house Saturday October 18th at noon until ???. All are welcome!
The porpose of this meeting will not only be to support one another but to try new foods and recipes! If anyone has a request of a dish that they would like made WLS friendly please contact me at [email protected] or post a reply here. I will ask that if you request a dish if you can bring some of the ingredients I would appreciate it! Hopefully this is a successful day and we can do it again!
Of course in addition to cooking some great food we will chat and support one another during it! We also know if we are cooking that means we get to sample!

ooohhh...better not have a new job by then....to much to do! LOL...seriously - I'm gonna make a follow up phone call now (it's taken me all day to get up the nerve....) and if and when I find out if I have the job - I am going to ask if they can hold my position until November (their orientations I was told start on the first and third monday of the month....so Nov 1 is a saturday which is a good moving day - and then that monday I could start orientation) I'm taking it as a good thing to call TODAY because just half an hour ago - I got my paperwork from NJ in the mail....so when I call I can officially say "I put the paperwork for the pennsylvania license in the mail today" (cause I already did....
Don't worry about changing the weekend - my schedule gets so screwy, my husband has trouble making plans with me....let alone anyone else!! ( I was just told by a friend of mine that she needs to get "better friends who can spend time with her" )
