Hello everyone,

What Ketchup do you use?  I see that my favorite brand has High Fructose Corn Syrup as the #2 ingredient and sugars are around 4g per tablespoon.

First RICE....now KETCHUP....   MY GOSH....when this madness end?

p.s.: I think I have issues with scrambled eggs now.....I got some mild chest pain after finishing about 1 egg yesterday morning.

Heinz makes a 1 carb ketchup
it's not as sweet but not that bad. I have about 3 or 4 bottles...but since I can't have my fries, I am not consuming much

I use heinz. Always have. Since I don't use near as much ketchup as I used to, the little bit of sugar that's in it doesn't affect me too much.

Without greasy homefries at breakfast or fresh cut french fires to dump the ketchup on, I don't have too much need for it anymore.

Geesh, now I am hungry for fries! Who started this conversation??? Thanks alot! LOL. Now I will have to drive home the long way so I am not tempted by the smells of fast food on the way home!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

That's my fault.  I hope you were able to resist the craving.

Steve,
I bought the reduced sugar one HOWEVER the one you recommend is EXACTLY the same.  I was studying the ingredient list side by side and I could not see any different.  ACME, from some strage reason, sells the 1 carb version for $0.50 more than the reduced sugar version.

you can find the Hinez ketchup at Giant and Redners... it is a little bottle... with a blue wavey band across it saying low carb or something like that... it is made with splenda and nutrasweet stuff...

KC Masterpiece makes a sugar free BBQ sauce... I can only find it at Redners... but I have seen it on sale online...

Both have more of a vinager taste... so more tang... but I like them both... great on burgers or chicken that got a little to dry...

Sorry about the eggs... try adding a tablespoon of water or milk to the eggs when you scramble them... also cook them very slowly over low heat... it keeps them softer without being mushy... I don't like mushy eggs lol...

Hey Shannon,
I'll have to try to BBQ sauce!  I did end up getting the Sugar reduced Heinz (blue wavy on the front) this evening.
