LOOOONG interview!!
I am a graphic designer and a project manager for a sign company. WEll I applied for a general position (expecting management) at a new sign shop that it is opening. Well when I got there the store was still empty, I soon came to find out that the owners (husband and wife) know Z-E-R-O about signs! He basically wanted me to come in and do EVERYTHING. I am trying to move ahead in my career but not by making someone else rich while I slave away! I would be the only employee until the store picked up - His goal was to do $250k in a year with the 2 of us on staff. The company I work for now employees 25 people and brings in approx $400k a MONTH! SO I just think that it is a bit too risky.
SO glad that your's went well - sounds like you landed it hands down! So happy for you! The lehigh valley will enjoy having you!

Pam,
Sounds great and the waiting game is always the fun part, but while it was a long interview process, it's now behind you. Hoping you hear from them soon.
Hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Somebody actually talked you out?? No way!! Wow Pam, the interview sounds like it went great! I can't imagine they'd spend all that time and effort if they weren't very interested in you and your skills. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed for you but doubt you'll need it - your personality and skills will do the work for you.
Wish you all the best!! Kathy
