***Friday Roll Call***

Well let's start with all the well wishes that need to go out there to people today!!

Mary Ivins - has her PS consult today with a surgeon who got a letter about her and her journey from her mom.  Perhaps PS will be a wonderful pre wedding gift for Mary and Norm!  She also has her one year follow up at Barix!!  According to her post, she hasn't seen Dr. M since about her 6 mos follow up appointment - somebody should email him to send him her pic so he know who she is!!  I'm sure both will go terrific and everyone will be pleased!!

Liz  Lis has an interview today!!  Knock em dead girl and show them what you've got!! Regardless of what you are applying for, I'm sure you will be an assett to the company and department!!

Shauna - Shauna does not post here due to an incredibly hectic work schedule  She is the founder of the pilgramage events and the not for profit company LookinTaShrink which now runs the pilgramage events.  She had RNY a few years back, coined the term "successing" which is what we strive for on a daily basis.  She GOES into her round of plastic surgery today to help with the skin she has left over as well as body image.  We're praying for you Shauna!!  As if you don't look phenomenal to all of us already - you will be one svelt mama very soon!!  Dennis is a contact person for updates for her.

I'm gonna throw myself in the mix today as well.  It's 5:15 and I am up and getting ready for my interview at LVH.  I am meeting with the nurse recruiter.  If this goes well, my info will be fwd to the department I want to work in.  I'm pretty nervous but trying not to get myself all worked up about it.  I have to remember to stay calm and appear that I am in control.  The alarm was set for 5:45 but I woke up at 5.  A combination of going to bed pretty early last night, my husband's snoring, and also probably the nerve factor.

So - that is mostly my day.  Interview at 10am.  Might be meeting my contact for LVH who I met through the boards after the interview.  Hubby and I also might drive around the area for awhile to check things out.

On the way home I need to stop at the grocery store for a few items.

Then it will be home to do the litter boxes and await my friend's arrival who I assume will be here around 5:30 or 6.  I haven't seen her in awhile so I'm pretty excited about it!! Her bday gift from me this year was tickets to see "rent" in NYC. Last show is tomorrow night - we are going to the matinee showing.  It's an AWESOME show - I've seen it probably 5 times already!

Good Morning Pam and Everyone,
I want to wish Mary a good visit with the PS and with Dr. M.  I saw him last week and it went fantastic.  I hope you and Liz have great interviews, and I will pray for Shauna as she undergoes her surgery.  Have fun at Rent.  My son and one of his ex-girlfriends were some of the original people who sat in the Rent lines waiting for tickets when it first came out. 

Today has me at work with the kiddos in Philly.  I had an exhausting day yesterday running around the school looking for certain Special Ed teachers who had to help me clear up a mix-up with a kid's placement.  Nice thing is it gave me some exercise.  So far the kids seem good, but that happens on the first day. 

Tonight, I have to go to my AA meeting, as I have not been to one since Monday.  I normally go first thing in the morning, but have been so busy getting ready for the start of school, and not feeling well, I have missed my meeting.  

I did get to the doctor for my B12 shot and my earache.  It is not infected, so she gave me the Medrol dose pack for the inflammation so my sinuses and all that junk can drain.  I have terrible allergies.  I take an allergy med and two nasal sprays a day, twice a day, religiously, and still get sick. 

Well enough about me.  I hope everyone has a good Friday and gets ready for Hannah to drench us on Saturday.

Good Morning All~

   Good Luck everyone ...Mary,Shauna,Liz and Pam sending out the good vibes to all.

 I am up early out of nerves while checking my bank account last night I noticed odd withdraws about 10 of them ranging from .03 to 1.81 then two large withdraws that I did not make. I called cancelled my card ASAP but I have to go to the bank to file a form to get my money back. The small withdraws are called skimming they do it to make sure the card works before they go in for the kill. Just what I want to deal with and need to be doing. GRRRRRR so I had my faceless voodoo dolls out last night before bed. 

  Today it is getting through the day at work then I am heading out with my cousin Donna to see Celine Dion down the Wachovia center. I can give or take her but they say she is amazing live so I got decent tickets on Ebay so we will check her out. Then after the show we may go to the Black and White party at the local "club" but home to bed will be worth it because I have to be up early to go the Spa in the morning for my monthly waxing,facial and massage. I need a weekend to just me soon before I burn out I see that happening "mid October" **eyeroll**

That's my day and I am sticking to it!

Today has me still recovering from my surgery.  It's not fun waking up.  It takes me a few minutes to get myself all together before I head downstairs.

I made Connor's lunch already and he fed himself some cereal before I even came downstairs.  So that is all out of the way.  His backpack is ready to go.  And my dad will drive him to school.  I will probably start taking him hopefully next week.  I miss dropping him off :(

Then it's computer time.  My work gave me a huge extension to turn another transcript in so that my paycheck would be decent.  So I've got to finish that.  They gave me until Monday, but I have a few other jobs to get done also.  Because our next turn in is on Wednesday.  Our turn in is basically a sheet of all our jobs that we turned in the past two weeks and that is what gets us our paycheck.  So I'm a just a "tad" behind as far as turning one in on Monday and then another one on Wednesday.  But it's all good.

Thanks Pam :) I'm pretty confident, actually think that I am way over qualified.... but we'll see!

Today I am at work, interview then off to my Grandmother's to visit and on the way home grocery shopping - so I should be back home around 9i****hink. Left the house at 5am so it is going to be a long hectic day! I am sure then I will just crash.

Tomorrow I am staying in to avoid the deluge of rain and wind and cleaning. Sunday I have some family coming over for a visit.

Good morning all..  well, I survived my bike ride last night.. It was sooo awesome to get back on the bike! 
Today I just have some laundry, general housework, and some errands to do before we head to Upstate NY tomorrow! 
Unfortunately, we had to spend $489 on brake work yesterday on one of our vehicles!!  Grrr.. guess I shouldn't complain as it's the first real money we've had to spend on the vehicle and it has 106k miles on it!
Now we have to find and buy a snowblower before winter as everyone tells us we are now living in a snow belt...lol   oh well...

Good luck to everyone who has interviews you will be great. To mary and shauna who are taking the next step. You are all my heros and my inspiration.

This am I am up going to a Dr appt,  I need to have my BC pills looked into. SInce the last 6 mos I have noticed that the week i am off them even though I have my flow LOL. I feel pretty good, but within a week of starting them again I am anxious, very negative in my thoughts, and often irrational. Yes me, I get irrational LOL. Poor Jason. I am hoping there could be another option.

Then I am going to make south beach style pizzas for jason and for me to take to work for dinner.   I have so many chores  I am sure they wont get attended to but it is not the end of the world.

 Good Afternoon All

I have been MIA for a while, but trying to get back into the swing of things.  I wish good things to all of  you who are job seeking and going through medical stuff.  

My trip to Europe was great.  I am now looking for a part time job to keep busy and for some extra cash.

I've looked at some past posts and am interested in the book review with Nicole.   My weight is staying at the same place, but boy has my appetite increased.  And I've been a little too careless with what I choose to eat.  I am very frightened of all this and the idea that I can gain again.  I am looking forward to getting the book and having discussion about it.

Good afternoon everyone. It was a hectic morning so I am jsut now catching up on the morning's posts.

Today was busy all morning but this afternoon there are no patients, and I am the only one here, so it's kinda lonely! LOL

This evening I am going home to the kiddos, making dinner. (Chicken Quesadillas, I think) After that we may ride into Walmart. I have a few things to pick up, like diapers, vitamins, and other odds and ends. Then it's home to hang out and relax.

Hope everyones day is going well and I probably won't be on all weekend so have a great one!

PS.....and show Marlo some support. She has her surgery on monday, and as long as my doc appointment goes well without any surprises or glitches, I plan on visiting her monday evening!
