Hi Kathy, I loved it during my first year out. I found two that I really liked and the calories were low, protein high. I listed the nutrional info for you. I bought my scifit from vitalady and the Ostrim from Netrition.com. Which also sells a wide variety of the divinci s.f. syrups and almost the entire Walden Farms products. The ostrum is easier to chew and moist. The jerky helped me get through some tough carb times. Jeanne SciFit Beef Stix Original |

Kathy, a tip on the beef/steak...try eating it leftover, cold or re-heated; for some reason it goes down better the 2nd day, I think because its harder and you have to chew it more, the fat has coagulated (and I'm assuming you are going as lean as possible on that - I don't tolerate anything less than 90% lean beef myself). Don't be afraid of the uncomfortable feeling you get in your pouch, you WANT that, that is what will help keep you trained to eat smaller portions like 4-6 bites. And, make sure you aren't drinking; eat as dry as possible. Once you are beyond your 6 mos. and feel food going down easier and notice more of it going down, you want to start incorporating drier cuts of meats, even the white meats. That will give you the same feelings you had in the beginning and keep you from slipping into the slider foods.
