Appreciation Thursday
I appreciate....
The fact that a new job is looking quite possible now after years of toying with the idea
That I have successfully been able to maintain with 3 pounds of an ideal weight for me for 4 weeks now
That I have this place to help me with not only WLS but life in general
That I have a kitty who is like my child and cuddles up with me when I'm cold
That I wasn't recognized by TWO people at work last night until I spoke...how cool...

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
I would also like to say that I appreciate this forum. I browse around on other forums to see what other things are going on or if anyone has any issues like me and OH MY!
I will stick to this one! No one has the "I am better than you" attitude. And if you are seeking help or guidance, you get genuine responses!

I appreciate:
My health and that of my family's, the many blessings that my recovery program has bestowed via my Higher Power and the ability to live the life that I always sat around wishing I could and now can enjoy! This board and all the information I have been able to tap into via OH and most certainly the many wonderful people I've met traveling this road.

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
