Do any of you have memberships to LA Fitness?

There is one opening up in Monroeville and I am thinking about joining it.

Thanks!!

We do a lot of work for LA Fitness (that lovely sign on the front of the building will be one of our creations!) and a dear friend of mine is one of their instructors here in the Horsham area - she has belonged for years and loves it. She is a true "gym rat".

Best of luck with it Karen!

I belong to LA Fitness and love that it has so much to offer, equipment, classes, the pool, a sauna and pretty much wherever I travel to I can get to one.

Take care and good luck, Laureen

I am a member, but would love to switch out.
I like the aquatic aerobics, but hate the sales guys.

I looked into going to Bally's and they were cheaper, but they only had aquatic aerobics at 10 am, while I was at work, and the other neighborhood gym didn't have a kids club, so I couldn't go there.

LA Fitness  has the Kids Club, so my little ones are watched while I (we) workout.

However, I would wait for a deal.
I have 6 weeks on my wife, so I signed  up before her.

I paid 0 to start, and $34.99 per month including the Kid Care (normally $10 per kid per month).
Here membership was $75 to start and $34.99 per month w/o Kid Care, but they will let her use mine.

I wish I had a better choice, but I have not found it. When I do, I am outta there, like last  year.

They have guys inside that sell you the membership. They look like trainers.

But I find it alot like buying a car.

I would suggest stopping in two different stores. Sometimes they are different.

I also think Sept is a good time to start there....

W/ money going to back to school, I know restaurant biz is way down, and I figure all the extras for the adults are back as well, while people are spending money on their kids.
