11 days and an angel ?

 The countdown is on. Im  11 days till surgery. wooahh..  And what is the process for getting myself and angel.. ID really like to have one. I feel good so far. The liquid diet started and I am ready for this all to happen... Ughhh stress..

If anyone could give me info on the angel process id appericate it.

Way to go on the countdown.  I know normally an angel is someone who has your own doctor.  Someone who can walk you thru the process like what to expect in your hospital.
I don't know of anyone off hand who has had your doctor...

I am actually doing a 10 day liquid diet myself.  My mother is waiting to have surgery and has to drop 10 lbs before they will schedule here.  So we are doing a full liquid diet during the week and then a modified diet during the weekends. 

It is much tougher to do the liquids before surgery than it is after surgery.  I did 10 days of clear liquids before...  So I can feel your pain!

I was an angel to someone from Barix, though a different doctor than mine.  My own angel was from Hazleton and had her surgery at Geisinger Danville.  It is totally up to you who you would like to ask to be your angel.  Your angel basically keeps in touch with your family about your progess the day of surgery and lets the forum know of it during the day.  If your angel is local, a visit at the hospital is typical, but not mandatory. 

I would suggest you choose someone you feel comfortable with on the forums who has had the surgery already.  Just PM that person and ask them.
