I had My chest x-ray, blood work ,and UGI/Small bowel function yucky Barium drinking test yesterday...Yuck yuck oh did I say yuck! Glad that is over and hope never to have to do it again. I am cheduled for Pulm function test , dietician, exercise and to meet with the GI doc.
This is so worth it no matter how Yuck that stuff tasted.

I had my upper gi, ekg and chest xray this week. I still need to have my stress test and that is scheduled for wednesday and I'm done with testing. I hope you arent having the same problem I'm having from the upper gi. The barium has totally constipated me and it makes me feel sick. (I know.. tmi) Are you having any problems from the barium in your system? It's been since wednesday and I still havent passed it all. sigh..

The barium made me feel sick to my stomach for a few days. They told me to drink alot of water to get it out of my system so, i was not constipated. I had a hard time drinking a glass of milk because it was white man that stuff left scars YUK!
