Thursday Roll Call
Well I guess since I'm up and *not* working ;-) cause we're very "nice" tonight.....I'll start the roll call.
When I get home I will be cleaning my house - we need to get in order before leaving on Saturday. I will also be starting to pack clothes for the weekend.
Then hubby has his doctors appointment....which is at 1:30p....I'm hoping we don't have to wait to long there and I'll be home and in my bed by 3 and then up at 9 to go back to work.

Ok I'm gonna WHINEEEEEEEE! I had my psych eval yesterday at 3. She said she was going to give me clearance for surgery. On the way home on the parkway my car started to sputter. It died on me in the turning intersection. People were ticked and going around me. Finally got it into a Giant Eagle parking lot and I ran in and got oil. Still didnt do the trick. Someone came over and banged on my gas tank. To make a long story short I had to get my car towed out of there and to a local station. My fuel pump went bad. When he banged on the tank I could get it started but no gas would go through and it would die again. When I got home and checked my messages there was a call from the hospital about my tests today. It seems like I need precertification for the stress test and they are trying to get ahold of the dr's office to get it. Not sure what they mean by precertification. I might only be able to get 3 of the 4 tests done today. I worked all night and had nothing by mouth after midnight. I feel like my mouth is stuffed with cotton balls. I cant wait to have a drink. I have had a slight headache from not getting my one cup of coffee since tuesday. Not sure if I want to just try and give it up now since it's alreay been two days. Wonder how long it takes to get past the caffene addiction.
So I worked till 5:30 this morning and I drove home and got my daughter and took her to work. Then I picked up my hubby and came home. We will leave here around 7:30 for my tests.

I am at work today, having a rough go of things. My throat hurts so I am whiny lol. Waiting for the test results from Barix this morning.
Also my Mom called me on the way in - she admitted to me that she was scared - of course I am trying not to let her hear I am crying - don't want to upset her!

Good morning all - Pam, good luck at the doc's with hubby today - Liz, hang in there, too - we're all thinking about you.
My day is fine - didn't get up to ride my bike this morning since I'm going to the gym tonight, but I did take the dog for a nice walk before coming to work.
Tonight I have a follow-up appt for my left foot - it seems fine now but I might ask him to x-ray it again now that its not all swollen just to make sure nothing is broken in there, because at times I still get severe pain. I know there's a bone spur and ganglion cyst on the top of my foot and that does ache from time to time, but yesterday at Target it hit with pain so hard I wasn't sure I'd make it out of the store, but by the time I got back to work it was fine. Weird.
Anyway, after the foot doctor I'm off to the fitness center, then home to start laundry - can I be more exciting??

Good morning everyone.
I have been so busy in the morning with work that I have not posted anything for a couple of days.
Anyway, today has me going to Jefferson for PATs for my gallstone removal and biliary tube removal. FINALLY this will all be taken care of -- keep your fingers crossed -- on August 27th. I am so ready for this whole chapter of my life to be DONE for good. My summer has been basically wasted with not being able to swim. So maybe I'll get a few strokes in before it gets too cold :) We'll have to see. If not, there's always next summer. And I definitely look forward to it.
Well, that's it for me...well, maybe some transcribing after I get back from Jeff. I have to turn in my work to get paid!!!

Well - I finally figured out what this roll call thing was about. 
Today is my 2 week post op visit with Dr. Marymo at 11:15am. I've *not* stepped on a scale so I'll find out what my official weight is later today. I have *no* expectations (i.e: I'm *not* telling myself "I hope I'm down 10 lbs") because this is not a race - in my mind.
Aside from that - it's my 9 year wedding anniversary today!! Already surprized my wife with her gift this morning. It was nothing big - just some DVDs of a TV show she likes that we stopped recording with Tivo due to a conflict with another show she likes better. Tonight we're planning to go to the Harrah's Casino in Philadelphia and "donate" about $40 each.
My only other goals today, +2 wks out, are to get in my 84g of protein and +64oz fluids plus read 2 chapters in my Managerial Accounting Textbook (I'm in the EMBA program at Drexel).

Today is also my wedding anniversary. My husband and I have been married 15 years. I will be enjoying my evening at a new student orientation for my son Riley. He is entering the 7th grade this coming year. This of course will be a very romantic evening for me. My husband leaves for work very early so we'll see if he remembers what today is. My brithday is Sunday, he better remember that date or he will surely be in trouble.
Can you folks please tell me what I need to do to get my picture put into the space with that ugly silhouette with the question mark in the center. I can't seem to found out how to do this. I think it's nice to see who you are writing to.
