7 More Days!

Finally! After all the pre-op bs and hoops to jump through.. seven more days until surgery.
I must say... I knew the 10 days before surgery would be rough, but I had NO idea how emotional it would be. Im so cranky........no... I'm *****y...I'm tired..I'm on a rollercoaster.
I keep saying... I can do this... I WILL do this no matter and keep counting down the days.
I'm SO ready for this surgery.

You will get through it and be on the losers bench before you know it.  Many great things are coming your way.  Hang in there.

The emotions can be such a ride - and I hate to say it - but it's sometimes worse AFTER surgery!  You'll do fine!!  7 more days will go by in the blink of an eye!

This is definitely a very happy, but also very stressful time - I know its easier said than done but if you feel yourself getting overwhelmed by it all just stop, take 5 minutes and deep breaths and relax and remember why you're doing this, and that it is going to be all worthwhile - as the actual day gets closer you'll feel it even more, but if you know in your heart this is the right decision for you you're going to be just fine.

Won't be long now - we're saving a spot on the Loser's Bench with your name on it!!

Thanks Pam and I can believe that at times it is worse after, emotionally, anyways. It is like you've lost something....Well, we have......we have lost a great comfort to us.  It really opens ones eyes. It's not that I didn't realize this before, I guess its just finally REALLY hitting home.


Thanks Kathy. Indeed it is happy and stressful time. I will probably be a basket-case by the 20th..LOL.  It is very worthwhile. I keep trying to focus on what I've accomplished in the past 7 months  and how that will only continue to improve once I have sugery.

I got on the scales this morning.....I've already lost 8 of the 10 lbs the dr wanted before surgery. That brings me down....30 lbs so far. I couldn't believe it. I about fell over. 30 lbs that I'll NEVER see again. Woohoo!
