Well I had my PATs today and what should have been a simple 3-4 hour "check list" turned in to some drama. During my Gallbladder ultrasound it turns out that apparently have some sort of "cyst" on my liver and am now off for CAT scans in the morning.

Can't say this hasn't sent me for a total loop.

please pray it's nothing.

Melanie - so sorry to hear - praying that it is nothing though! If it is any comfort I have battled cysts on my thyroid for years and I was told that most of the time cysts are nothing.

Hi Melanie - I'm sorry to hear about the cyst but its probably good they saw it during PAT's and not surgery so it can be taken care of or at least noted that its there so it doesn't cause you any problems. Praying that everything is going to be okay and you can continue moving forward to your surgery.

I was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder during my pats - so although it wasn't as scary as something as a cyst, I kind of understand where you are coming from.
