I've been looking for soy nuts but am not having any luck at all finding them. Went to Trader Joe's at lunch and they don't have them either. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I have seen them at Giant in the produce section... like as a topper for salads and such... and they were good... be careful because some of them have sugar on them... but I really liked the ones I had...

Thanks Shannon - I'll be hitting a Giant Saturday so I'll look there. Kathy

Any Wegman's near you, I think they carry them. . .

I have been wanting to try soy nuts as a snack but haven't been to our local specialty store (they hand roast all kinds of nuts, coffees and have lots of other goodies)

They have them in plain, lightly salted, or wasabi. Hubby would like wasabi he loves spicy food.

I just don't want to pick up another unhealthy snack habit. Would the plain or lightly salted soy nuts be good for you? Also I have trouble digesting some nuts, but it's a hit and miss thing. I love almonds, pistachios, and walnuts, in limitation of course.

What about soy milk? Is that a healthier choice than 2% organic hormone free cow's milk? How about taste?

You have to be careful about soy milk... you need to get the one that is unflavored and doesn't have added sugar products to it... most soy milks have cane juice or cane syurp in them... which I have been told is the purest form of sugar... another good choice if you can't find the unflavored soy milk is rice milk... and again make sure it doesn't have the added sugars to it...

But I use skim milk... I haven't drank 2% milk since I was 10... so that has been 24 years lol...
