Morning All! I am at work after a terribly stormy drive in! WHOA rain., lightning and thunder! Becareful out there!
So jealous Katie! I haven't been to AC in about a year... with buying the house and all I have to save all the money I can and well.... you know how it goes!
After work today I am stopping to pick up some plants, a stop at the liquor store for a party I am having this weekend and then home to plant my flowers (as long as it isn't raining), make dinner and spend some time with hubby. Nothing too exciting

Enjoy your trip to AC. I have not been on a trip to the shore in years. AC does not interest me, but the sand and surf does.
Today, I am heading to the hospital for work, then to the pool for a swim. I am having trouble waking up, but will perservere none the less.

Good Morning everybody - Good luck at the casinos Katie - have a great time!! My hubby loves to go - I never win so I'm not a big fan.
Lots of storms overnight and much needed rain - water main break in front of my building out here in King of Prussia so I had to drop hubby off at work then take the round-about way in. I'm hoping others watched the news but since I'm still the only one here I'm guessing they didn't and are not trying to weave their way around the closed road.
Not much on my agenda today other than work - got up and rode my bike this morning - walked the dog - he was acting skitzy on our walk this morning - don't know if he smelled something he didn't like or what but he kept wanting to go home.
Anyway, hope everyone has a good day - watch out for those storms later - could be some flash-flooding around.

Katie, have a great time in AC! I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I have never been there. Yes, for most of my life I've been a Jersey Girl and I've been going down the shore every summer for years, but I've never gone to AC to hang out. Crazy.
I hope everyone is having a good day. I have been doing a lot of walking lately as part of my pre-op regime but I am getting terrible heel pain, which I think is plantar fasciitis. I'm going to have to do more swimming instead of walking now, and also I'm going to get a new pair of sneakers to see if that helps. I am trying to get rid of this without having to get a shot of cortisone in my foot.
My HR rep wants to meet with me later today about my leave time for surgery. I plan on taking 2 weeks off, just using sick days, but apparently I still have to fill out the temp disability paperwork since I'll be out for more than 5 days in a row. Ugh! I hate filling out forms! I hope these forms aren't too bad.

I've been having the greatest time on my new job. It's kinda weird to look forward to work. I've been extremely busy and tired but I'm loving it. Mondays & Fridays will be my most physical days. Those are the days we put out the order I've made. I had my pedometer on Monday and when I finished my day and took my walk I had registered 20,499 steps. Thats over 10 miles! It was a ton of lifting, bending, stretching & sweat. I am so thankful I stared this process in April. I would have NEVER been able to keep up this pace.
Tonight I go in at 9PM to change all the tags for the sales that ended today and start tomorrow & place my order that will come in Friday. I'll be there till 5:30AM. I'll go back in Friday morning at 6AM to put out that order. Another sweaty active day that will be. I was told it rained here but since I was passed out I missed it all. I sleep like a rock once I get there and wake up so refreshed.
Right now I'm doing laundry and hanging it outside to dry. I'll keep myself busy till work by catching up on my house work. Boys are gone, Deidre is at work & Hubby is sleeping. He works 6PM to 6AM so I have the house to myself today. Just the dogs to keep me company.
