On Saturday I was at the Kenny Chesney show down at the Linc...Yes I drank a ton of water to stay hydrated in the 100 degree weather!

So we were inside looking at the shirts my girlfriend is buying one I saw one I thought was really sharp. The guy shows me the shirt  in teh XL I say "Oh no I need the 2XXL " the guy behind the counter looked at me said "are  you sure?" at the same time my girlfriend said "You do not need that size unless  you are wearing it to bed"  I asked to see the shirt again and proudly walked away with an XL shirt.

As we were walking back to our seats I said to my girlfriend that I can not just wrap my brain around the fact that the rest of me is smaller these days. Once back in our seats I tucked my little shirt under my seat with a big stupid grin on my face.

That's a great story Beth.  Can't wait to read your post that says "I walked away with a S shirt."

Congratulations on moving DOWN to the XL!! Pretty soon it'll be L, then M - working your way thru the alphabet! I bet that was a great feeling, especially since the person selling you the shirt was the first to point out that you didn't need the bigger one! That had to feel fantastic!!

OMG my husband and I got caught up in that concert traffic on our way to a friend's house in Bucks Co on Saturday - it was nuts!! And that was at 3:00 in the afternoon - I don't know if you got there that early but those people looked like they had to be roasting in that sun. We came back by around 10:30/11:00 and it will still going on? That was one looooooooong concert!! Hope you had a great time!

Thanks Kathy!

We got down there at around 1:00 we did the tailgating in the parking lot like we do every year but this year I went inside around 3:30 the heat was killing me! We had box seats so had access to air conditioning off and on. The show started at 4 with the smaller acts then around 9:20 Kenny hit the stage we got home at 1:30 in the morning it was a looong hot day! I had a blast as I do every year when we go it has become a tradition and I was sober this year!
