Glad to see they could get you in fairly soon - sometimes these things take weeks to schedule. How have you been feeling? Any more pain? Make sure you take a bottle of water and a protein bar or something to eat as soon as you can have something - I know you're good at being prepared but you have a lot on your mind right now. Gall bladders suck - they serve no purpose other than to give us grief - had mine out at 19 - BIG old scar from that one. I look like Frankenstein's bride with all the scars all over my body - thank god most of them are hidden!! Hate to scare the little kiddies...snicker...anyway, thinking about you - we're all here for you - Kathy

I'm sorry that you have been feeling so miserable.I hope the scan shows something just so you can finally have an answer and a treatment plan. Or, a miracle cure would be ok too. I'm keeping you in my thoughts. Be well.

Hey pam!So glad you got your test for wednesday! I have my catscan(abdominal ) set for friday ,nothing by mouth for 6 hours prior and  i have to go an hour before so i can have the fluid they give me for the test,Its amazing they think i can just guzzle the 22 ozs of fluid in minutes,Yea ok,guess they never had weight loss surgery hugh! Hope your feeling better and no more pain!My prayers are always with ya,Keep us posted on your test ok!hugs Trish

I spoke to Dr. P tonight - she assured me she would call me with the results - I would assume not until at least Friday or so.  However - one of the techs mentioned to me that depending on how, if at all, diseased my gallbladder is, I would possibly go into a gallbladder attack during the exam.  So I guess if I develop pain or what not, I can assume it's positive??

Well I hope you don't go into an attack.  Well it's kind of a double edge sword!  If you go into an attack, well than you know it's your gb and will possibly look at surgery.    But if you don't have an attack, than it may have been your bowel.
