Welcome, Rachel!!!  Like people have said...this is the best board.  You will find lots of support and answers to all of your questions here.  There is no support like the PA board gives you.

I see you're from Philadelphia.  If you're ever in the neighborhood of Langhorne, specifically by the Oxford Valley Mall, you can always stop by Barix Clinics for some support.  We meet once a month on every third Wednesday @ 7:00 in the Barix Lobby for postops.  All are welcome.  You don't have to have surgery done there to come and be with us.  And a lot of us who post here go to the support meetings and have had their surgery at Barix.  So come on by.  We have a meeting this Wednesday.

Welcome from another Jersey person, who had surgery at Barix in Langhorne and posts here, as this is a very friendly supportive group and an active board! 

Nice to hear how well you've progressed, I think most of us suffer the hairloss, but that grows back eventually, so keep on "successing" as to succeed is to complete something and since we are on a lifelong journey here, it is about continuing on this journey (I think that is sort of how Shauna expressed that idea (smile)) and if you're wondering who Shauna is, keep coming back and eventually you might get to know. . .

Hello Rachel!!  

You and I are pretty much on the same path.  I had surgery with Dr. Dallal at Einstein a few days after you, on March 4.  We're very similar in size and have lost pretty mucch the same amount of weight thus far!  How did you like Dr. Dallal?  I love him!  I have my next appointment on Aug. 6 - any chance you'll be there that day too?  Let's chat!
