Just wanted to let you know if you are eating tilapia, you might want to cut back.  Recent testing shows that tilapia has Omega 6 Fatty Acids, not Omega 3.  Omega 6 are the "bad" ones. I sell seafood for a living, so if you would like a better alternative, pls ask.

Eat fish - live longer

Thanks Steve - what are the best fish to eat? Health wise...

I eat a lot of trout and salmon. Flounder if I can get it. And I always have frozen cod in the freezer.

Oh and I just got some striper yesterday from my uncle - now I have to figure out how to cook it...

Thanks!

Liz

Great tip to pass along - thanks! I need to eat more fish but sometimes it get stuck - probably too dry or something. I've always been leary of cooking it, too. But I need to eat more. Any tips you can provide will definitely be helpful. Thanks - Kathy

Oh no!!  We just bought a whole thing of Tilapia -- it is one of my favorite fish.  I mean I don't eat it everyday but still...I guess I will just have to watch how much I eat.  I also like salmon, flounder, and tuna...any other suggestions would be great!!  Thanks for the info Steve!!

yeah I saw the clip from fox news about that... they said it is because Tilapia is farm raised and fed lots of corn...

But, I am looking for a good fish to try out on my 2 year old... and more than likely it would be pan fried (a little oil because hubby likes his with a little crunch) any ideas?
