Can't get enough...

Ugh...   It's certainly one of those days...   better yet, one of those weekends.   No matter what I eat, it's like I'm STILL hungry.   Now, this usually happens before "that time of the month" but my god....

I ate so much yesterday, and although I know it's all good things I'm eating, I'm still over-eating.

On top of it all, I feel absolutely HUGE.   I'm bloated, my jeans are tight...   I'm cranky....

I'm just a ray of sunshine this weekend.

The scale will most certainly hate me tomorrow.   Which in turn, will make me hate the scale.

Those days stink Mary!  Try to understand you are doing a wonderful job - and the bloating and what not will not be there a week from today with that time of the month surely being here soon.  Up the water and keep away from humans, lol!  Hang in there - this will get better tomorrow.  Oh - maybe stay off the scale tomorrow?  I know it's probably not something you're willing to do - but might be worth it.

Well, I know how you're feeling.  All of a sudden I seem to be able to eat more.  And I actually was snacking on carbs.  And I said to myself "well, if something goes whacky on the scale you'll know why, because of the carbs."

Well, remember I was 4 oz from being in onederland!!!  I went on Friday to get weighed.  It was in the afternoon about 3:00 and I hope on the scale and it said I gained four pounds.  I almost cried.  But I had also been retaining water in my legs and ankles, which I'm worried about.  That happened to me last summer but I was almost 400 pounds and thought that was the reason.  Anyway, I hope it was just the water in my feet and legs that had something do to with it.  But I realized also about the carbs and that I have to watch myself.  But that is the awesome thing about this surgery and eating differently now....we know if something goes ary it's because of something we're doing wrong and we can right back on track and fix it.

Hang in there, Mary.  You will be fine.  Keep making all the right choices and everything will be great!!

Karen

I know the feeling, trade in your wraps for green leafy veggies, trade your apple and PB for lean deli meat ... you may find the change more satisfying and the bloating will stop or slow down.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

I'm only weighing in once a month right now, and when I went to the nutritionist the other night she wanted to weigh me but I said no - I was 2 days away from my time and knew i was retaining fluid like crazy. Plus like you I had 2 days where I felt nothing would satisfy my tummy and I ended up being miserable. Its not fair and its not right - men have NO idea how good they have it sometimes!! Hope you're feeling better soon - don't harm the scale - just don't get on it either! Kathy

OMG, it must be that time of year....I got on the scale this morning and had my very first gain...4lbs.  I know it's because I haven't been to the gym in a week (I fell and hurt every part of my body, including a broken thumb).  Plus, I was feeling sorry for myself and ate things I don't usually eat, like sugar free cake.  It's scary seeing the scale move in the wrong direction.  Sounds like a good discussion for our meeting on Wednesday.  Tomorrow starts a new week.  Let's try hard to get back on track and we'll talk about it more on Wednesday.
