swimming after surgery

I know this question has been asked a bunch of times but i cant seem to find it. How long after lap RnY can you go swimming in pool/ocean? Thanks

Rita  I think they said 4-6 weeks when I was discharged but I healed really well and at my 2 week check up I asked Dr. P she checked my incisions and she cleared me at 2 weeks to do the pool. So ask at your 2 week!
