Poor Circulation?

HI all, Ever since surgery I have been having problems with my hands cramping up and feelings of pins and needles.  It's mostly when I rest my arms say on a chair and even typing this I'm resting my wrist on desk to type and my fingers have this tight feeling like there cramping.  It's very hard to explain.  I was just on the floor doing some leg exercises and when I lay on my one side, the leg I'm laying on,  my foot starts to fall asleep.  It's getting worse and I'm still dizzy when I stand up quickly.  I was told at work it's because of dehydration and low potassium.  I drive a forklift for a living and it has arm rest and I cannot keep my arms laying on those arm rest for more then 5 min or my hands cramp up.  Even on the toilet I cannot sit for so many min because my feet instantly have pins and needles.  I also have trouble sleeping because I constantly have to keep moving positions due to waking up with my hands numb from being in one position.   Anyone else have this problem?   If so is it because I'm not drinking enough water? Thanks

You need to get all your fluids and get your potassium level checked.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

It sounds less like poor circulation and more like nerve problems. I would seriously A) make sure you are getting enough fluids B) get your electrolytes checked (either a "basic metabolic panel" or a "complete metabolic panel")  C)  Get your b vitamin levels checked.  (b1, b12).  Decrease in these vitamins can cause irreversible nerve damage. Good luck, keep us posted please! Pam
