***Thursday Roll Call***

Good Morning all!! Today I will be at work till about 9am - we have a mandatory staff meeting that is supposed to start at 7 (never starts till 7:30) and normally lasts at least 1 1/2 hours if not two. When I get home, I'll get my dinner together and pack up my food for tonight. Last night at work!  Then I have Friday and Saturday off, work Sunday night, and begin my week of vacation on Monday!  I'm pretty excited about that The house is finally clean, so I don't have to do any of that - but I will probably separate my laundry as Friday during the day hubby is taking his mom to a doctors appointment, and I'll probably go to my parents house to do the laundry. That's about it. Have a good day - it looks pretty stormy out there... Pam

Good Morning everybody -- something is in the air today that is driving my allergies nuts! My eyes are tearing and my nose is running and my throat feels like something crawled down there and is scratching its way out (oops - sorry - was that too graphic??  Anyway, I'm at work. My mother got home last night - they had a long trip the second day. Spent some time with my brother last night - he's leaving this morning to head back to Florida. Brought my laptop into work so I can work on downloading my CD's today - might as well do something productive since nobody is here and there's nothing to do. Hope everybody has a great day. Kathy

Good Morning Pam & PA Posters, Well it's my Friday and I am totally looking forward to this weekend as a "chillaxing" one, poolside at my friend's!   As for today, I'm sitting here at my workstation, reading posts and hoping that some work crosses my desk in order to make this day go by.  This evening I will be attending an AA meeting and then if I have any leftover energy, I will go to the gym to do some cardio, since tomorrow I have my 9 month post-op visit at 10:30 and won't be able to make the gym tomorrow. Morning everyone.

 I work today from 11-7:30.  It's supposed to be very hot and stormy today.  I hope I can get my walk in after work.  We did get caught in the rain the other day and it wasnt too bad but Deidre HATED it.  The dogs didnt seem to mind either.

My allergies have kicked up big time.  As a kid I never had problems.  The summer after I got married they hit full force. (Probably a sign I was allergic to my husband..snort) They were bad for years and then I got them under control with a steroid nose spray.  They seemed to disapear for years.  Over the past few years they've been acting up again.  Right after I started to work they started. (Probably another sign I'm allergic to work....snicker)  Yesterday I started that new one...Zyrtec.  It seems to help but I feel kinda drugged.  If I dont feel better in a few days I'll make an appointment to see my Dr and ask for a steroid spray.  I like them because they only treat the nose and they prevent pollens & such from triggering attacks.  You just have to be religious at first and use it twice a day as prescribed and then after awhile you only need it when you have an attack and it stops them.  Well that is how it worked for me.

Good morning all! I am feeling the allergies today too.  I guess something new must be out but I haven't had time to check pollen.com to see what it was.  No fun!  I got up early today so I could go swimming before work.  While at the gym I weighed myself and saw that I am VERY close to the pre-op goal that Dr. Pupkova had given me. This is a huge relief!  I am almost ready! I still haven't heard from my insurance company.  It's now one week + one day since they've had everything they needed from me.  So now I'm debating whether I should call them to check the status.  Maybe this afternoon I'll call if work isn't too busy.
