so i've heard alot about the foamies.  and ugh, today was my first experience.     since weather has been cooler out my allergies have been horrible. and couldnt take my zrytec today cause i had alot to do and couldn't be tired.    so i had way to much post nasel drip was sick to my stomach all day only had jello for Breakfast and just liquids for rest of day,  then i just had to try and make myself throw up, i knew it wasn't anything else i could do to feel better.  i heaved and heaved, finally got mucus out, gross sorry.  then i tried to puke again naturally and nothing would come up, i couldn't even burp, felt like burp was stuck.  then finally lots of yucky foamy bubbles, god was horrible.  hope doesn't happen much but i know it will, but i do have to say i did feel much better after it all.

Sorry for reaction.  Just be aware you can get that feeling from waiting to long to eat or eating the wrong thing or eating too much.  Hopefully you will be able to avoid it.  Hope you are feeling better soon.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

I had the same issues with my allergies when I first came home too... but hang in there... I had to start taking another allergy med because my zrytec would move through my system too fast...

But, you should take zrytec before bed so you can sleep off the sleepiness that it causes... that is what my doc told me to do... works like a charm...

I get the foamies once in awhile I try to stay calm then ride it out. Matter a fact I had then in work last night because they use cheap beef in work.  Sorry you got them though!

Foamies are awful.  I was getting them quite often because I was eating to fast - it would start with my eyes and my nose running like a faucet - and then the heaving would start.  normally would just build up mucous and keeping spitting it out.  I have yet to throw up since surgery - I just dry heave until the sun goes down LOL Glad you got through it.  Make sure you keep eating and drinking when you are supposed to. Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
