MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!

Hi,
I'm new here. I have a few questions. Do the state of Pennsylvania MA still covers the gastric sleeve surgery? Have anybody heard of Northeast Bariatric Center in Hazelton, PA? If so, do they accept MA and Access Plus?

I have upmc for you.  Dr. Courcoulas at Magee did my surgery in 2009.  I am fairly sure I need a revision as I have gained 25 pounds and really just constantly feel famished.  Will my plan which is Medicaid cover my initial visits and revision surgery?  I'd like to switch to a better lifetime management surgery if anyone can recommend one.

Hey y'all, I am super new to this. I just got approved by Medicaid (keystone first) for wls. I have my first appointment with Dr tholey on June 15. She works out of Einstein medical in East norriton. There's 2 other surgeons that also accept Medicaid. I hope this is helpful. Wish me luck.

Hello, I know this post fron you was from almost a year ago, but If you are still on here i was wondering if you could tell me how long it took to get approval from keystone first and was it difficult? I dont have any big comorbidities and am afraid they wont approve me. I also had gastric bypass in 2003 so this would be a revision. Any help would be great.

I have them. I would recommend you calling Keystone First to see if they cover revisions. I'm about to get VSG and my pre-op program took 3 months.
