does any one know if  Pennsylvania   Highmarkmark  freedom blue ppo medicare advantage  covers  vsg?

I realize I'm incredibly late to this forum, but hi!

I live right near Geisinger Plains/Danville, but my question is how are you getting insurance approval?

My medicaid provider wont even speak to me about it and I don't know where to start!

I see someone mentioned my surgeon's partner, but just wanted to repeat...Dr. Ali in Erie takes medicare/medicaid. I'm on both. He is affliated with Hamot Hospital and his phone number is 814-877-6997. They are very nice and helpful there.

i am hoping to have the wls soon.i have all my text done and am just waiting for the Lns.i have unison medplus and i go to Dr Ali in Erie he is a great doctor and Hamot hospital where i have had alot of my test done is good.everyone there has been so nice to me.i am hoping to hear something from the Lns soon.this Tuesday   it will be  3 week's that i had my last test done.

You might want to try Bariatric Physicians Specialist in Lancaster  with Drs Ku and McPhee.  The phone number is 717-544-2935.There, they have everything in a central location as far as dietician, support, cooking classes, excercise physiologist.  Dr. McPhee was calling my regular doctor to make sure that I was I was getting the care I needed weight wise with him. At one point, I went on Medicare and the office has accepted it.  If you're looking for an excellent plastic surgeon,  Dr. Lisa Learn is phenominal and she is out of Ephrata Community.  She does take Medicare.  She did my pannilectomy back in August and she did everything in her power to get me the surgery I needed
