You are doing a great job.
I weighed in this morning and I can actually see my goal weight in the window of the scale. We'll get there together.
Best of luck to ya! Keep up the great work.
I am SO looking fwd to stepping on the scale and being happy about it:)

So there won't be a meeting until Oct?
Hubby & I have went to the OSHU Support groups when we can, but with Sunset traffic and hubby's new schedule we need something closer. Hubby & I have both had RNY (his almost 3 years ago), mine was on 3/25/08.
What time are they also?
Thank YOU!
Hugs,

I checked OHP's prioritized list of health services that was effective April 1, 2008. WLS is covered under line 33 only when the co-morbidity is Type 2 Diabetes and the BMI is 35 or more. Those without this co-morbidity are still considered far lower in priority under line 608 of the same list and are therefore not covered under the OHP. Here is the link:

According to the OHSU website, bariatric surgery for obesity is included for patients over 18 years old with a BMI of over 35 and type 2 diabetes.
Don't think that either one has requirements for taking medicines for diabetes.
Hope this helps!
