Topic: RE: Anybody have Dr. Jewell or Dr. Havard for PS?
Deb, I had a TT and eye lid surgery in April of this year by Dr. Jewell. I am happy with both but do wish my tummy was a little flatter, however at the age of 60 (as of last Sunday) I should be happy with the 6.5 pounds of panni he removed. I plan to have a breast lift and reduction next year with a little more tummy lipo, and will most likely have him do this too. His office staff are great. Julia

I am SO HAPPY for you!!
Welcome to the loser's bench with wide arms!
You have just made the BEST change in your life, although there may be times when you questions it, you will be amazed with the changes 100 times over in the next year.
Friday will be my one year surgiversary and it seems to have gone by so fast, but at the same time seems like 10yrs ago...lol. I look at who I am today and don't even recognize the woman I was even just 1 yr ago, though I know she's still there.
If there is anything I can do to help or any encouragement you need, I am just a message away.
CONGRATS girlfriend!!!!

I can't tell you anything about him, but I'm so glad for you that you found someone to help. I can't imagine how frustrating this has been for you. Best wishes on the MRI.

Topic: Back surgery - anyone know Dr. Robert Hart in PTLD?
Folks - many of you know that I have a severe problem in the bottom three discs of my back. I haven't been able to find a surgeon to help me in Eugene -- they all say that there is nothing they can do for me and they only recommend a spinal cord stimulator. I'm just not ready to be old and crippled up yet -- especially after having undergone gastric bypass to get myself in shape!! So, I saw Dr. Robert Hart at OHSU yesterday. He is in their Spine Center. He has given me hope for a fusion. I need to have an MRI of my whole spine so he can be sure it will be okay, but he thinks he can do it. Do any of you know of anyone who has had back surgery with Dr. Hart? He seemed very nice, competent, and really listened to what I had to say. I'm hoping this will be my ticket to better movement!

Vicki - you do such a good job on keeping us up to date with info! How are you doing since your surgery? Still feeling well? Are you losing at a good rate? I hope you are doing as well as you would like. Hope to see you again one of these days!
