THE 1ST ONE TOOK A WHILE TO POST, SO I REPOSTED, THEN THE OTHER ONE CAME BACK UP. --it's ok, because one's kind of funny & one's more plain. LOL

I finally  have a surgery date! After over 2 years of going the process, my surgery date is here. I have gone through cycles of different  feelings about post op life & I have concluded that it is time to live my life. I am very excited and scared at the same time. I am grateful to all the supportive OH members ansd Salem support group members. My date is October 31, 2008. Dr. Emma Patterson at Portland Good Samaritan Legacy Hospital is performing the operation. I will definately keep you updated. Thanks.

It's hard to imagine that you basically lost yourself --a whole other you is missing, but i'm sure you gained yourself too by losing yourself because you probably do a lot more stuff now & feel a loot better!  LOL Congrats!
