You will have to keep us all informed.  I am sure she will come thru with flying colors!

Kathleen is having her surgery at RiverBend today with Dr. Yarborough (RNY).  Please join me in wishing her the very best.  I couldn't find a link to her surgery support page.  I guess I'm not a very good angel!  I'll call her tomorrow and see how she's feeling when she gets home.  Yep!  She's supposed to be home tomorrow!

Oh dear Sandra!  This does not sound good.  Perhaps it is best they stopped your surgery when they did.  I hope you are able to find some treatment, particularly for the hepatitis.

Dr. Halpin is extremely kind.  I have had appointments with her a couple of times in Eugene for a fill.  She is compassionate, funny, and truly listens to you.  I think you will really, really like her.

Sandra - I am sorry this happened to you, it would be a huge bummer to awaken from surgery to find out nothing was done.  However, I am glad they held off if they thought it wasn't safe to proceed...it could have been devastating had they proceeded and you had major complications down the road.  Hopefully everything will turn out OK and they can get you back to the OR and get it done.  Keep your chin up!

Sandra, Hi - I'm new on here but I just had to tell you how sorry I was that you had to go through waking up to no bypass..  That's my worst fear.  It really doesn't sound quite right for the doc to stop halfway through the procedure.  Maybe you should talk to someone else.  I'd be just as mad as you are!  After all we go through to get to the point of surgery, we expect to wake up with the procedure completed.  Don't give up.

Oh Sandra - I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you.  Perhaps you can see someone else to get a second opinion?  To get you that far and then not proceed seems so unfair.  I hope you will find something that will work for you.  Blessings to you.
