Tracy: I had Dr. Hong and he had us do cottage cheese and tuna. That melts the fat away from the liver, too. I wasn't hungry, but I sure was sick of tuna and cottage cheese. Good luck. Pam

hi there...funny that they allow you to have milk...my surgeon only allowed water...no milk because of the the sugar it contains...we could not have any milk products...I still after almost 5 years out suffer when I eat yogurt.

Tracy, I can't really help with the milk question but I wanted to say Hi!!! Your profile struck me as we have several similar interests!! I too am a horse nut!! I sadly sold my QH gelding Gus last spring after having my second baby. I just did not have the time he deserved. The good part is my neighbor bought him for her 8 year old twins to learn on and I have first right to purchase him back when they are ready to move up. At which time my boys should be ready to really start riding themselves. I too used to feel just horrible for Gus. He is a big stout gelding but why should he have to pack around 100lbs more than most of my friends mounts. Not to mention the lovely picture I made in the saddle with my rolls a bouncing. Yikes!!! Our BMI is also really similar I think I am between 43.5 and 45. Please let me know how things progress for you. Where is Dr Cagle's office. How much is your surgery costing?? I think I may have to go to Mexico for my surgery. Amy
